I unexpectedly needed a new car last week. It came at a really bad time, so it obviously was a sense of frustration. I quickly went to Garavel Subaru in hopes to find something that fit my needs. After talking to the salesman Stephen Shaughnessy, my anxiety quickly dissipated. He was kind, professional, and extremely easy to work with. He walked me through each of my options and was incredibly patient with me. He gave me honest and thorough feedback. He listened to my wants/needs, and guided me through their impressive lineup. I purchased a Suburu Crosstrek from Garaval Suburu last week. It was a wonderful experience! My salesperson, Stephen was very accommodating and couldn’t have the made the whole process easier. He explained the car’s systems easily and if he couldn’t answer a question directly, he sent me a video of himself illustrating the function questioned. He even gave me a swag bag!!!! The dealership was new; very clean, had a room for children and lots of balls for pets. I was introduced to all department heads who would answer questions if Stephen was unavailable. Stephen is the standard for what car sales/service should be. Got two cars with him and he was never pushy or gave meaningless lip service. He was attentive, patient and knowledgeable. It's hard to think of anything that he could improve on. I think that he naturally loves helping people and is one of the most genuine people in the industry that we've worked with. We recently leased a 2024 Impreza from Garavel to replace a Legacy lease that was about to expire. We had several options: We could buy out the Legacy, we could extend the lease for another six months, or we could consider turning it in and replacing it with a new car from a different manufacturer or going back to Subaru for another one. Over the course of the Legacy lease, Garavel contacted us several times to offer help on reaching a decision. Finally, because Stephen Shaughnessy made himself available to assist, we reached out to him for suggestions. Because we don't put a lot of miles on our cars and need something reliable and easy to handle for grocery shopping, short trips in the area, or an easy way to drive the dog around we decided on the Impreza because it was comfortable, safe, and felt right for our needs. Stephen made it even easier because he listened to what we wanted and arranged a pricing point that was more than fair and value added. Plus, he was quick to answer questions (and did so thoroughly), and we felt totally sure of our decision as a result of his pleasant manner and remarkable efficiency. To this day, a week or so past getting the Impreza, we are glad and happy we went back to Garavel to begin another three-year relationship. Specifically, we'd like to point out how helpful and friendly Stephen is, and we wholeheartedly recommend talking to him if ever the need arises to inquire about either buying or leasing a Subaru.

Stephen was great! He was attentive and knowledgeable! He was also very responsive to questions. There was a little hiccup during delivery, totally my fault, but Stephen, Chris Scarlett, and the finance and management team were flexible and understanding. Highly recommended.

Excellent service. I bought my Crosstrek just few days ago. I dealt with with Stephen who gave me phenomenal service. He updated me every week via text just to let me know that the delivery of my car is on track. He gave me an estimated arrival which was on point. He spent the time to orient me with my new car and made sure I was comfortable driving it. He even gave me a service tour to show me the great lobby while waiting for your car service to be done. He offered himself as a resource even few days after I drove the car home. Will definitely recommend Gravel to friends and family for the excellent service.
